Founded in Yorkshire by talented tailor Charles Edwards, Amalfi Bespoke combines the best of modern Italian and British styles to create timeless men's garments. While working for one of Leeds’ most influential tailoring houses, Charles mastered his craft. In 2021, Amalfi Bespoke launched, positioning itself as THE luxury, custom tailors in Leeds, offering 1:1 personal consultations UK-wide.
Amalfi Bespoke makes formal and casual clothes that combine understated, masculine design with superior craftsmanship. And we understand that customers have busy lives. Therefore, we take pride in being available for personal appointments seven days a week. Our designs will take you from the boardroom to relaxed weekends at home.

Our Bespoke Tailoring Process

Let’s chat. We begin our journey together with an initial style consultation, share your garment requirements and tastes with us. We do this in person, either at your home or at a convenient location.
Discussion

Once we know your initial style brief, we arrange a fitting and fabric selection consultation at a location to suit you. We expertly take all your measurements and discuss your fitting and fabric choices.
Measure

Once your garment is cut, we come to your preferred location to arrange the first fit then take away your garment to make perfect-fit adjustments and alterations. Next, a second fit or delivery is arranged.
Fittings

Once your timeless, contemporary garment is hand-finished, we deliver it to you by your chosen method – this might be by post or in person. So you can enjoy your tailored garment for years, not just the season.

Rough timelines
To make a handsewn made to measure garment- It roughly takes 4weeks for a shirt, chinos or jeans. 5-6weeks for coat, sports jacket, suit!
What is your house style/ traditonal cut
Blending traditional craftsmanship inspired by the old masters of Savile Row, with the softer fluidity of Italian suit construction, Amalfi Bespoke Tailoring has come to epitomise what contemporary British tailoring is all about – breaking outmoded sartorial rules in favour of comfort and expression while looking damn good in the process.
What can I expect in terms of billing and invoicing?
All our products are ‘full canvas’, the finest quality of construction available, with no glue, or, ‘fusing’ used in our garments.
This provides a superior fit and feel, as the jacket sits closer to the body, and helps maintain the garments shape over time.
There is also the option to have everything sewn by hand (rather than machine) – the Rolls Royce of the tailoring world.
We take 50% of the order price as a deposit, with the balance payable when you take delivery of your finished garment.
As Leeds tailors do you service customers outside of Yorkshire?
Yes, we style clients across the UK, from Newcastle, York or Harrogate to Leeds and London. We regularly work with clients in Manchester, Birmingham and across the country. We can arrange a 1:1 consultation at most locations to your convenience.
